Weather
Today we continued looking at natural forces. We did this by further exploring different types of weather and learning about some freaky forces of nature

Wonderopolis
Today we explored what weather would be like on other planets. We learned that there are storms that have been happening for many years, compared to our storms on earth. Some of the questions that were answered were;

-
What is the weather like on other planets?
-
Which planet has the worst storms?
-
Why is there a red spot on Jupiter?

Weather 101
We learned about how meteorologists predict the weather with this fun video. We learned that there are many instruments and tools used to get our weather forecast.

10 Freaky Forces
We read about 10 weather events that have happened during earths history. We learned about baseball sized hail, the highest winds, frogs raining from the sky and much more. We had a great discussion in class about weather we have experienced, and the weather events we had heard of.

Weather Prediction
Lastly, we looked at a weather report out of Florida. We looked at the information included in the report, as well as thought of questions we might have for the meteorologist.

I hope you enjoy these activities and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
